वाहणाऱ्या पूर्व नद्यांमधील ०.५३ मिलियन एकर फिट पाणी अडविण्यात आले आहे. या
पाण्याची गरज भासल्यास राजस्थान अथवा पंजाबमध्ये याचा उपयोग पिण्यासाठी किंवा
सिंचनासाठी केला जाईल, असे त्यांनी
सांगितले आहे.
